This is an indexed collection of records from Argentina documenting the presence of thousands of British and other English-speaking residents there. 

Records include baptisms, marriages, deaths and burials from the Anglican and Scots Presbyterian churches, transcripts from the National Archives in Buenos Aires and London, Argentine census returns and contemporary publications.

The Rev. Jeremy N. T. Howat, author of this website, was born during the years that his father was teaching maths at St Georges, Quilmes. He subsequently spent many years in England, returning to Argentina with his family to spend a total of 11 years as an Anglican priest, working at different times in Hurlingham, Villa Devoto, Rosario, Lomas de Zamora and Los Cocos. He now lives in England.
