Dear brothers and sisters: Today at 1:40 am, our beloved sister Beryl has departed with the Lord. At 96 years of age and after a life of dedication and service, this great woman who, as we have said several times, has been an “institution” within the Church, sets out to the presence of the Lord and to unite with his beloved Peter Godwin, who had been Rector of the SANTA TRINIDAD parish in Lomas de Zamora, from 1983 to 1987 and had previously been as Assistant Pastor since 1978. Evelyn Beryl Woodgate born in Entre Ríos to English parents, a blessed life, in which she always showed us joy, hope and simplicity at all times. See you later dear sister and thank you very much for everything !! Rev. Marcelo I. Centurion - St. John the Baptist - Anglican Cathedral, Buenos Aires, Argentina

John 'Jack' Campbell Shakespear Miles
6 March 1918 – 11 December 2021
Jack was born in Buenos Aires, the fourth of eight children of Alfred Shakespear Miles and Josephine Ethel (née Hirst). Jack boarded at St. George’s College, Quilmes. He, along with his brother Eric, was an early WW2 volunteer, arriving in England in 1941. He joined the R.A.F. and was commissioned as a Pilot Officer. Jack was posted to Canada to train as a flying instructor and subsequently had many tours of duty, mostly in south-east Asia. He was released from the R.A.F. in 1946.
Jack returned to Canada, via a stint back in Argentina as a pilot with Aerolineas Argentinas, to fly with Pacific Western Airlines, retiring in 1978.
Jack Miles will be remembered by all he met as a courteous and thorough ‘gentleman’. May he rest in peace.
